Facility Use

CPC has been blessed both with a wonderful campus to worship at, but also the opportunity share this opportunity with others, including two guest churches various ministries of the church and community outreach programs.

Because of the many different groups  using the church facilities, it's crucial that all church use be well planned and scheduled.  To accomplish this we have developed two use request forms.

Please complete the most appropriate below and return to the church office:

  • Church ministries and small activities organized by church members
  • All other facility use requests (Usage is $250 for 1-3 hours of use & $50 for each add'l hour which includes janitorial, utilities and a Facility Guardian to be present while you are on the premises)
  • If you're request is regarding a wedding, either for a member or non member, please contact the church office first.

Our Campus

Our church campus is made up of several different buildings that have had various uses throughout the church's history. Some of the buildings have multiple names, which can be a little confusing. To help clarify, the more common names for each building have been bolded.

After years of hard work by our building committee, our new building hosted its first worship service just before Christmas 2005. We are enjoying the new sanctuary, fireside area for fellowship, nursery, kitchen, and offices that we have been blessed with.

Our Chapel (building 1 in the map below), which used to be the sanctuary, is now used for classroom space, and a gathering space for local Korean and Chinese churches. It is also where our elementary school children meet for group singing before their Sunday School classes being. This building was built as a chicken coop before the church moved into the property in 1963, and as is occasionally referenced as such.

The Education Building (building
2 in the map below), has two main sections of classroom space: Upper Ed and Lower Ed. The enterance to Upper Ed is up the hill near the Chapel, while the Lower Ed enterance is just out the rear door of the Main Sanctuary building. As is suggested by the name, this building is our primary education building, both on Sundays and during the week.

Building 3 in the map was the manse, or parsonage, that the Swenson family lived in while pastoring at CPC. As such, the manse is also called the Swenson House. It is now used for classroom space. Finally, buidling 4 used to be our office space, but is now additional classroom space.
